Last updated: 29 July 2026 · Revenu Search Term Auditor (neggy.vercel.app) is an internal advertising audit tool operated by Revenu ("we", "us").
What the tool does
Search Term Auditor connects to your Google Ads account, with your explicit consent, to read the search terms that triggered your ads and get an AI-generated KEEP / NEGATE / UNSURE verdict on each one. When you choose to apply a decision, it adds that term as a negative keyword in your account (campaign- or ad-group-level, as you specify) — it makes no other change to your campaigns, budgets, or bids. When negatives are applied, or when a report is shared with a client, a snapshot of that run (the search terms, verdicts, and decisions) is saved so it can be reviewed later or shared via a link — see "Run history & client sharing" below.
Data we access
With your permission via OAuth we access: your basic profile (name, email address, profile photo) to identify you, and your advertising data (ad accounts, search term reports, keywords, negative keywords, campaign/ad group names, and spend metrics) to build the audit and, when you request it, add negative keywords. Google Ads data is accessed through the Google Ads API using the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/adwords scope.
How we store and use it
OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted, httpOnly cookies in your own browser — we do not store your tokens on our servers. Your basic profile (name, email, photo, sign-up date) is stored in our database to operate your account, along with any per-client context, rules, and AI prompt settings you save in the tool. Search term data is otherwise fetched live when you run an audit and rendered in your browser — the exception is a saved run (see below), which does retain a snapshot.
Run history & client sharing
A run is saved to history only when negatives are applied or a report is explicitly shared — not on every audit. Saved runs are visible to any signed-in member of our team, filterable by client, from the Run History screen. Sharing a run generates an unguessable link that anyone with the link can open without signing in — treat it like any other link you'd hand to a client. On that page, a client may suggest a different verdict or leave a comment on a term; that feedback is stored alongside the run for our team's review and never changes what's actually applied to your account. A share link can be revoked at any time from the run's detail page.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. Search terms and the client context you provide are sent to OpenAI to generate each verdict and to suggest exclusion rules from past decisions; we do not share your data with any other third party, and we do not use it for advertising. Data is used solely to provide the audit, sharing, and rule-suggestion features you requested.
Google API Services — Limited Use
Search Term Auditor's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking access & deletion
You can disconnect Google at any time from your profile menu in the tool, revoke access in your Google account permissions, and delete your account (and stored profile record) from the profile menu. Cookie-stored tokens are removed on sign-out.
